Elizondo ES is a Pre-K to Grade 5 school and is an awesome place to work! Our class sizes are small, our dedicated teachers are focused on students and we consider ourselves a Bulldog Family! We partner with the North Las Vegas Police Department and annually celebrate our Namesakes' memory and community service every Spring. We also have many opportunities for supplemental pay for licensed teachers like professional learning and student tutoring. We have established a phenomenal 21st Century program targeting project-based learning and extra-curricular activities for students and teachers to participate in. We make learning FUN!

Pre-K=16-20 students with an assistant [other schools up to 25 or more]
Kinder=19 students  [other schools 22 or more]
Grade 1=16 students  [other schools 22 or more]
Grade 2=18 students  [other schools 22 or more]
Grade 3=22 students  [other schools 24 or more]
Grade 4= 21[other schools up to 34 or more]
Grade 5=23  [other schools up to 34 or more]

The support provided\: Our school has 3 administrators dedicated to the success of our teachers. We also have 3 strategists supporting the instructional and behavioral needs of students, a dedicated Special Education Instructional Facilitator at our school, two full-time counselors, and two social workers that support our students. 

Position Summary\: 

This role specifically is for Grade 3 Teacher  but we also have teaching options in Pre-K through 12 grade throughout the Clark County School District.

Salary ranges from $50,115 to $101,251. Additional monies for the 21st Century tutoring openings, training after school, attendance to all events and celebrations after school

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree.

Licenses and Certifications:

Before starting, you will need to acquire a teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education. Don't worry, we can assist you in walking through that. It is typically a 1 month process. You will also need to complete separate background checks with both the Clark County School District and the Nevada Department of Education which can take about 1-2 months. 

When applying for a certificated licensed position, candidates must meet the minimum qualifications as listed on the appropriate position vacancy announcement.
