To perform maintenance and repair of the facilities, equipment and grounds of a manufacturing facility and distribution center
•Conduct routine maintenance on facilities, manufacturing equipment, and grounds
•Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production machines and tools
•Perform basic electrical work, such as safely troubleshooting electrical issues with outlets, breakers, fuses, electronic controls, and relocation of circuits
•Perform basic plumbing such as fixture repair and installation, and locating and repairing leaks
•Perform basic carpentry such as general framing, installation, remodeling or repairing damaged framework or other structures/fixtures
•Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose root cause, and make reliability improvement recommendations
•Troubleshoot complex problems when the repair is not immediately visible
•Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair/maintenance of equipment
•Relocate and setup employee workspaces and equipment
•Perform and maintain inventory on repair supplies, keeping them neat and organized
•Coordinate the work of external contractors on larger or more complex projects as needed
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
•Must be a creative team player, friendly, professional, detail-oriented and honest
Must have the ability to:
•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
•Perform root cause analysis to determine appropriate solutions to problems
•Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment
•Use general shop tools, drills, grinders, band saws, and hand tools
•Work independently with limited supervision
•Work outdoors throughout all seasons
•Use ladders and lifting equipment
•Obtain a powered-industrial truck certification, if needed
•Operate at heights up to 30 feet
•Be available on an ‘on-call’ basis when needed
•Push/Pull/Lift up to 40 lbs.
Must have:

•Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electric Code

•Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
•At least 2 years of experience in maintaining and keeping a facility and its equipment in safe, functional, clean, and orderly condition using general mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other associated skills
•At least 5 years of experience in maintaining and keeping a facility and its equipment in safe, functional, clean, and orderly condition using general mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other associated skills in manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
•At least 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician preferred
•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
•High School Diploma or GED
•Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician Certificate (CMRT) preferred
•Certification or degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred
•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
