Grinding Operator - URGENTLY HIRING!!!!

A Grinding Operator is responsible for operating grinding machines to shape, finish, or smooth metal and other materials according to specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards to ensure high-quality production.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of grinding experience as well as proper training in grinding techniques, operations, and safety.

• The ability to use and familiarize oneself with Cole Kepro grinding tools as well as perform the physical aspects associated with grinding operations.

• The ability to effectively work and communicate with other team members.

• Must be able and willing to follow verbal instructions of supervisors.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform grinding processes in accordance to Router specifications and prescribed procedures safely and with high quality standards.

• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

• Carry out other assignments or cross train and work in different departments when directed by supervisor or powder coating manager.

• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on the grinding/powder coating equipment as required.

• Maintain and track an accurate grinding disc inventory.
