The Salvation Army Owens Campus in Las Vegas is looking to fill a Lead Campus Monitor position. The successful candidate for this position will have training in crowd management/conflict resolution, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances. The Lead Campus Monitor will assist the Homeless Services Liaison with supervision, training and mentoring of campus monitors. This person will delegate assigned roles to Campus Monitors during special events and work with the Homeless Services Liaison to keep the shelter secure. This position will respond to calls for assistance, manage traffic flow, maintain a log of trespassed persons, report any unsafe or unsanitary situations in writing and deter criminal mischief by maintaining a visible presence.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. The employee must have the ability to operate a telephone, desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
