To develop and implement processes and procedures as related to Pride’s domestic and foreign manufacturing efforts
•Will work as part of a team on:
•Process improvement projects with full accountability for project results by means of sound engineering principals and proven industrial procedures
•Researching, justifying and implementing enhancements and assisting with the training of supervisors and employees to ensure safe, efficient and effective production
•Implementing new processes in Production for New Product Introduction (NPI) as defined in Pride’s Design Transfer Process Procedure
•Perform Internal-External (IE) analyses and evaluate efficiency levels
•Maintain new tool design, cell layout, and production test fixtures
•Perform daily floor support
•Work on special projects when needed
•Communicate feedback and capabilities to Manufacturing Engineer leadership and team
•Monitor existing processes and implement changes accordingly to eliminate non-value added work content
•Provide on-hand support to Production for quality, ergonomic, and process improvements
•Interface with System Support Group as it relates to changes in processes that affect documentation control and production control software
•Assist with production line work duties when needed
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

Must have:

•Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Basic understanding of Production Test Fixture design, Lean Principles, and Lean and Flow Manufacturing Principles
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD engineering software preferred
•Basic working knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, Agile, Adobe Illustrator, and Production Control Systems preferred
•At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment supporting automation and process flow, OR equivalent internship experience
•At least 1 year of experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred
•At least 2 years of production experience in an engineering support role in an assembly environment preferred
•At least 1 year of experience adhering to Food & Drug Administration (FDA) or International Organization for Standardization (ISO) equivalent preferred
•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
•Associate Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
•Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
•Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
