Pemserter Operator
Position Summary:
As a Pemserter Operator  will be responsible for accurately installing fasteners into sheet metal components used in the assembly of custom lockers and secure storage systems. You’ll operate Pemserter equipment to ensure structural integrity and alignment, supporting the production of high-quality, durable metal lockers for commercial and industrial use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Pemserter press machines to install fasteners (e.g., nuts, studs, standoffs) into sheet metal locker parts

• Review and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and job travelers to ensure accurate hardware placement

• Perform regular quality checks using calipers, gauges, and visual inspection to ensure proper alignment and fit

• Set up and adjust machines for various locker panel sizes and hardware types

• Track production data and complete documentation related to part counts and quality checks

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety procedures

• Work with production and assembly teams to meet build schedules and minimize rework

• Assist in light assembly, material handling, or packaging tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience operating Pemserter or similar press equipment preferred

• Basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication or locker/cabinet assembly

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and work instructions

• Familiarity with tools like calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
