 As the Stockroom Attendant supporting our teams in Milwaukee, you'll be responsible for receiving and maintaining materials used by our Production team. In joining our team, the hours are set to start at 6:00AM, with needed flexibility throughout the year. The individual in this role will also oversee any pickup and delivery assignments for vendors and general replenishment. Stockroom Attendant Responsibilities

  • Receive all items at stockroom purchased by the division.
  • Visually inspect, check for accuracy, apply safety labels, and disburse as necessary.
  • Label all items in direct purchase area and keep area neat and orderly.
  • Enter receipt of all items into computer system.
  • Disburse items from stockroom as requested.
  • Record disbursements on material slips.
  • Assign stock numbers to slips and enter into computer system after appropriate approval.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly cycle checks of regular inventory.
  • Log incoming Federal Express and UPS shipments. Call and or email staff that their packages are here.
  • Wrap and mail miscellaneous packages for work orders as necessary, charge time to jobs.
  • Control tool and equipment sign out.
  • Maintain stockroom keeping it clean and orderly.
  • Maintain direct purchase area making sure packages are delivered to appropriate personnel.
  • Practice good time management. 
  • Provide positive example to maintain shop morale/order.
  • Ensure compliance of all operational policies and procedures as applicable.  
  • Suggest solutions to conflicts/situations. 
  • Other duties as assigned (when applicable).
Requirements

Stockroom Attendant Requirements & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED and / or one to three months related experience.
  • Solid organizational and communication skills with a specific focus on attention to detail is a must.
  • Customer service oriented and cooperative toward co-workers; polite/professional manner with vendors and delivery people.
