We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. Welders will follow blueprints and specifications to produce high-quality work that meets safety and structural standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding process specifications.
Perform welding tasks using various methods such as MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-core welding.
Inspect welds and ensure that they meet standards and specifications.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed.
Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating or distortion.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
Document work performed and materials used.
High school diploma or GED; trade school certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a welder (1-3 years preferred).
Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding.
Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
Good attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination.
Welding certification (e.g., AWS) preferred but not required.
May require standing, bending, lifting, and exposure to heat or cold.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
Some travel or overtime may be required depending on project needs.
