POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate Assistant General Manager who excels in gaming, customer service, and operational management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our establishment, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering a vibrant gaming community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of the establishment.
  • Assist the General Manager in hiring, training, scheduling, and managing the staff to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that the tavern is in compliance with all state and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of supplies, including gaming equipment, food, and beverages.
  • Work with the General Manager to create and execute marketing strategies that attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Help organize and promote events, tournaments, and other activities that appeal to our gaming community.
  • Monitor financial performance, create reports, and make recommendations to improve revenue and profitability.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the gaming or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of gaming and the ability to engage with gamers and enthusiasts.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
  • Must be 21 years or older.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
    • Must be able to obtain a Non- Gaming card
    • Must obtain Serve Safe Manager Card
    • Valid Alcohol Awareness Card
    • Valid Health Card 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
