Responsibilities

THIS IS A CASUAL POSITION WORKING A MAXIMUM OF 900 HOURS PER CALENDAR YEAR.
 

The Talent Acquisition team is looking for a specialized and skilled Sourcing Specialist to join the organization. This individual will help to support the Talent Partners with niche specific roles and high-volume head-count that needs additional support. This individual will be an energetic and organized person who is excited about finding top talent on the market across multiple disciplines.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Talent Partners and Hiring Managers to identify key talent on the market.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Participate in special projects/staffing initiatives.
  • Provide advice and counsel to line management on policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Impact NNSS continued growth and success by using your strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills to schedule interviews of top tier talent.
  • Build strong relationships with highly sought after candidates and internal customers, including C-Suite Executives.
  • Ensure a world class candidate experience to make NNSS an employer of choice.
  • Be an integral part of a supportive, dynamic, diverse and fun Talent Acquisition team.
  • Be curious and courageous to identify and execute process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Enhance organizational and individual awareness of diversity in the workplace by directly sourcing diverse talent.

Qualifications

Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.

  • High School diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of related experience.
  • Must have at least 1 year of previous experience in Human Resources.
  • Industry experience preferred in infrastructure, defense space, mission assurance, engineering and technology.
  • Experience in identifying talent and directly headhunting professionals across multiple disciplines preferred.
  • Team player that is open to working across multiple disciplines.
  • The primary work location will be at the Losee Road facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • Work schedule for this position will be 20-30hrs/wk, Monday – Thursday (subject to change).
  • Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

Ability to obtain a HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential under the Department of Energy Order 206.2, ‘Identity, Credential, and Access Management,’ and Supplemental Directive NNSA SD 206.2, ‘Implementation of Personal Identity Verification for Uncleared Contractors.’

Hourly range for this position is $20.30 - $30.45.

 

Starting salary is determined based on the position market value, the individual candidate education and experience and internal equity.
