Job Summary
We are looking for a current clinical Dental Assistant to move over to the corporate side of Dentistry.
A KEY-PLAYER in the overdenture therapy space is expanding. The Clinical Education Support Specialist (CESS) assists with both clinical dental duties and administrative tasks for educational courses. Clinical duties include supporting dental procedures, patient care, and maintaining the clinic. Non-clinical duties focus on managing education materials, enrolling students, and assisting with education course organization.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties (25% of the week)
- Assist with dental treatments, including preparing the room, handling instruments, and supporting patient care
- Perform tasks like taking X-rays, cleaning equipment, and managing supplies
- Follow safety and infection-control procedures
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and care
Education Support (75% of the week)
- Help organize and manage materials for education courses
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and ordering supplies for courses
- Help with course administration, including enrolling students and preparing course materials
- Participate in workshops and industry events, helping to promote the company’s solutions
Collaboration
- Work with the education and clinical teams to support courses, events, and trade shows
Schedule
- Some evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be needed
Requirements
- Completed certified dental assistant program (CDA, RDA, EFDA, EDDA)
- At least 2 years of dental assistant experience required
- Radiography certification preferred - Company will pay for this course if needed
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in an educational setting and interacting with others or ready to "be uncomfortable" to grow
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
