Event Measurement Analyst

Summary  

As an Event Measurement Analyst supporting the Strategy & Planning department, you will help tell brand performance stories through data from corporate events.

At Impact XM you’ll support the team throughout the life cycle of projects from the earliest stages of measurement strategy to collection, analysis and reporting of actionable recommendations to our clients.

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Measurement Strategy: Collaborate with clients and our cross-functional teams to develop measurement strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of client trade showsevents and experiential activations.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their objectives, gather requirements, and establish data collection and reporting processes and expectations.
  • Data Collection: Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources, including event technology, surveys, social media, and other third-party data.
  • Data Organization: Organize and maintain data folders, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security.
  • Insight Generation: Use data analysis techniques to uncover meaningful insights and trends related to event performance, attendee behavior, and progress towards client goals.
  • Report Creation: Generate clear and visually appealing reports and dashboards to communicate findings, trends, and actionable recommendations to clients.
  • Client Presentation: Present data-driven insights and recommendations to clients, showcasing the value of our analysis and providing strategic guidance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, measurement, and events. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Strategy & Planning Support: As a member of the Strategy & Planning department, you may support other areas of our work including industry and market research, presentation and proposal support, trend analysis and other needs as they arise.
  • Some travel may be , outlined in advance by your supervisor. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, preferably Business Analytics, Statistics, or Marketing.
  • 1-2 years of experience conducting analysis of corporate events.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
  • Exceptional experience with data (using different data types/sets, QC, analysis, visualization, presentation)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate data findings into actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Experience with the pharmaceutical marketing and/or experience with the corporate event and trade show industry is a definite plus.
  • Note: Applicants who move on to a later stage may have the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities by completing very short quantitative assessment that is reflective of a typical analysis you would need to perform frequently in this role.
