Position Overview
Coastline Equipment is hiring a Field Service Technician at our North Las Vegas, NV branch. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled technician to join our team and provide exceptional service to our customers. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Wirtgen and John Deere construction equipment on-site, ensuring that equipment remains operational and downtime is minimized. You will also collaborate with the Parts Department, assist customers with service concerns, and promote dealer service programs to drive customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnostics & Repairs: Perform complex on-site diagnostics and repairs on Wirtgen and John Deere construction equipment, adhering to company standards.
Training & Development: Participate in required Service EDUCATE Training programs to enhance technical skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
Customer Support: Assist in customer clinics and address maintenance, repair, or service concerns directly with customers to ensure satisfaction and smooth operations.
Sales & Promotion: Promote and sell dealer service programs to customers, increasing service contract sales and customer engagement.
Inventory Management: Work with the Parts Department to maintain seasonal parts inventory, ensuring the right parts are available for repairs.
Knowledge Maintenance: Continuously update knowledge on Wirtgen, John Deere, and competitive products to provide expert service.
Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the condition of the mobile service vehicle, trailer, tools, and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
