General Description:
The Culinary Academy of Las Vegas (CALV) is the country’s leading nonprofit culinary and hospitality training institute. CALV’s mission is to train people for successful hospitality careers in Las Vegas. CALV’s vision is to reduce poverty and eliminate unemployment by providing employability and vocational skills to youth, adults, and displaced workers.
The Pastry Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging culinary instruction to students enrolled in CALV programs. This position involves teaching both practical and theoretical components of culinary arts, including continued education courses. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary expertise, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to student success and workforce preparedness.

Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma is required, an associate's degree (preferred) with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field. Experience working with diverse learners (preferred). Basic computer skills.
