A day in the life: What you do
As a team member in this full‐time role, you must be eager to learn and implement our new production and logistics systems. You must utilize your experience to execute on several operational changes mandated by the executive team. We are looking for someone with passion and drive, who can ensure that our high standard of quality is maintained. Your work will vary as this role is part of the ‘post acquisition’ transition of former management into the order of the new executive team.
Implement the new reporting, scheduling, production, and logistics systems as they have been set out by the executive team
Report directly to the executive team on a daily, and on operational team meetings 2X weekly
Manage facility’s current key personnel, and assist the executive team with identifying redundancy, therefore strengthening the company’s ability to grow via increased sales efforts
Adhere to the specific reporting structure as laid out by the executive teams change management plan
Coordinate and organize new equipment ordering, shipment and delivery
Ongoing coordination of the facilities capabilities to fulfill contracted work (maintenance, utilities, water, boiler, batch scheduling, etc.)
Oversee the timing of project runs via direct report management on the floor
Communication with QA/QC direct report to make sure all facility certifications are in place and up to date
Communication with the sales and service teams
Oversee the flow of shipping in and out of facility with logistics/warehouse direct
Qualifications: What you know
Experience managing teams and direct reports
Able to work in an environment of growth and speed of efficient execution of new systems and idea
Driven individual with the desire to learn about new systems, processes, and the nature of our business.
