Production Scheduler 


Classification: Non-exempt (hourly position)

 

Requirements & Competencies:  

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years of experience in project management.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines. 
  • Must be knowledgeable in Word, Excel, Power Point and Access. 
  • Collaboration initiative, organizational skills, technical capacity and decision making.
  • Experience with inventory management and working in Dynamics 365- strongly preferred 
  • Experience in aluminum fabrication - strongly preferred 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment with time sensitive material.
  • Strong computer skills required. Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word programs a must.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors and company departments for completing various phases of the projects.
  • Coordinate fabrication dates and delivery dates for all scheduled projects.
  • Reviews and sorts fabrication packages before releasing to shop foreman.
  • Procures all non-stock materials required for projects.
  • Maintains inventory levels on ANL specific systems and brake metal sheets. 
  • Works with other divisions to track material status and follow up on back orders. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. 

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. No travel expected for this position.
