 Job Summary:

The STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Math) Center of Excellence embarked on a mission to empower individuals with the knowledge and exposure needed to thrive in the ever-evolving world. The STEM Training Manager is a position in which your responsibilities pave the way for our future generation’s success. This position manages the success of the STEM program based on Nevada Partners Inc.'s goals and objectives.

 Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Managing contracted instructors’ performance.
  • Managing and coordinating schedules. 
  • Interviewing and selection of contracted instructors.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the advancement and growth of the STEM program. 
  • Works closely with leadership, vendor resources, and the community to continue developing and strategic planning for the STEM program. 
  • Manage contracted instructors. 
  • Managed STEM administrative operations. 
  • Provide required reports to the management team.  
  • Participate in Nevada Partners, Inc. sponsored events. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned. 
  • Manage content of curriculum and instructional requirements.

  • Knowledgeable in STEM best practices.  
  • Knowledgeable of community resources 
  • Collaborative team player. 
  • Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively. 
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
  • Participate in Nevada Partners, Inc. sponsored events. 
  • Participate in Nevada Partners training and meetings.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. 

 Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is required. 

Two to four years of experience in education or related fields. 

 Work Environment: 

Office setting in which team members have a strong sense of camaraderie and a good work ethic. 

 Physical Requirements: 

Walking, standing, and prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
