Role and Responsibilities:

As the Warehouse/Fulfillment Associate for Jenni Kayne your primary responsibilities include the following:

Receiving Department: This team accepts our customers’ new inventory and owns the entire process of getting that inventory accepted into our system. Receiving also has the responsibility of communicating the arrivals and any exceptions.

  • Unload and sort inbound deliveries.
  • Fill out appropriate receiving documentation and pallet/carton tags
  • Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
  • Conduct quality inspections and perform correction tasks to address issues with carton/product packaging, labeling, and tagging.

Order Fulfillment (DTC or Stores): These teams are responsible for ensuring the quality of each and every shipment as well as picking and packing the items correctly. Replenishment, Picking and Packing work together to guarantee that shipments are fulfilled perfectly and owns all responsibility around those shipments.

  • Perform the replenishment, pick, pack, ship functions, following required specifications.
  • Fill carts with orders or supplies and move carts as needed to complete order processing.
  • Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.

Returns and Transfers:  This team accepts our customers’ returns and store transfers that arrive at our Warehouse/Fulfillment Center and is responsible for properly accounting for every piece of inventory to its final destination.

  • Unload and sort inbound receipts of returns and transfers.
  • Record inventory and inspect all items
  • Make inventory disposition decisions, following required specifications.
  • Fill carts with orders or supplies and move carts as needed to complete processing.
  • Perform processing tasks such as steam clothing, sort product in/out for dry cleaning, pack product into boxes for storage.
  • Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
  • Use technology like Chuck/6RS robots, laptops, handheld devices, and scanners as required. View prompts on screens and follow directions for some tasks.
  • Participate in annual physical inventory counts and execute cycle counts as requested.
  • Follow good warehousing practices including:
    • Safety/Surroundings: Follow required safety practices including being aware of your surroundings and walking only in approved areas. Work safely around moving machines like forklifts, mobile carts, and robots.
    • Organization/Supplies: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while ensuring all supplies required to complete your job are restocked and accounted for.
    • Housekeeping/Trash: Maintain warehouse cleanliness. Everyone is required to clean up after themselves in the employee breakroom and bathrooms.
  • Other Duties as Required: We are a team which means you will be asked to help in other areas out of your normal day to day responsibilities to ensure the operations are running efficiently.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be punctual and available to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • 1+ years experience working in a warehouse environment strongly preferred.
  • Basic technology skills include clocking in/out and the ability to use handheld devices and scanners.
  • Ability to count with accuracy and perform tasks as trained with attention to detail.
  • Dedicated team player, hard-working, trustworthy, and responsible
  • Commitment to excellence and a great attitude

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to perform physical activity including, but not limited to, sitting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting (up to 50lbs), and walking for your shift.
  • Use carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other gear to move items around
  • Ability to maneuver through storage racks, trailers, and other areas of the w
  • Ability to work around moving machines such as order pickers and reach trucks.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment (i.e. exposed to hot, cold and changing temperatures, medium noise level not requiring protective equipment, and dust, dirt and changes in lighting)

The annual base salary for this position is $34,320. The base salary is determined by experience, education, skills, and location.
