Requirements & Competencies: Thorough understanding of manufacturing, business process and management requirements. Aptitude for process management and customer/supplier relationship management. Proficient Microsoft, Outlook and software knowledge. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Minimum Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

Summary/Objective: The overall development, performance, and maintenance of the organization’s manufacturing activities to obtain the maximum efficiency, quality, service and profitability for the division.

However, from time to time you may be expected to travel outside that area as the job role requires.

 

Job Requirements:      

  • Financial management of the division, control budgets, expenses etc.
  • Direct management of division workload, labor/headcount, 
  • Responsible for statutory/regulatory compliance (safety, OSHA, HR etc.) 
  • Developing plans for the organization’s progress and growth 
  • Support all departments in matters related to manufacturing, i.e., procurement of materials, inventory control, warehouse space allocation, etc. 
  • Manage, direct, and monitor the overall performance of the manufacturing organization.
  • Responsible for meeting corporate expectations and goals i.e., profit targets, capital expenditures, cost containment, manufacturing/plant engineering improvements, environmental/health/safety.
  • Responsible for growing Business optimizing resources assigned to the Region.
  • Responsible for improving business processes for each department through analysis and collaboration i.e. Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen tools etc.
  • Assures prompt, accurate and complete reporting on all major aspects of plant operations to the President.
  • Other duties as assigned.
